i was watching this hilarious car show, Top Gear, on malaysian channel NTV7 this afternoon, where the hosts were racing to get to London from Italy, if i can remember correctly, to deliver a box of truffles. 2 of them will be piloting a plane, or a Cessna 186 to be exact. the other guy will be tearing the street with the best car ever made, the Volkswagen Bugatti Veyron 16.4 :

yup.. that's the car i'm currently in love with (: i shall tell you the stats and you will understand why i just love it:

what really won me over was seeing how easy it was to manouevre the car on the streets, and how the hydraulic spoiler helps to push the car's weight down at corners and bends (in the mode called Defcom 3). if the car is on a straight highway, leave the spoiler and shift into Defcom 4 mode, sans spoiler. the car's much lighter and moves way faster.
and the speed. 407.5km/h. tell that to ferrari and porsche. tell that to McLaren-Mercedes. according to Top Gear, if this baby Bugatti's gonna race with an F1 McLaren to reach 200km/h, the Bugatti would win hands down.
comparing it to the Lambourghini Gallardo Spyder or Superleggera, i'd still take the Bugatti although the Gallardos look nice and are used as police cars in Italy. (yes, Italian traffic police use Gallardos as cars.. can you believe it? Italian cops using Gallardos.. not Subarus or what.. but GALLARDO..)
