i just realised something today: a one-month holiday with the workload that i'm getting is not sufficient. cos i have holiday homework to complete, and then the preparation for the ASEAN Humanities Challenge, which includes research, powerpoint slides and a report, as well as some revision for the new semester. add to that, scouring singapore for cultural spots as required by my malay project, my madrasah exams, meeting up with old friends, and of course, shopping during the GREAT SINGAPORE SALE!

modern women nowadays are so busy with everything that's going on in their lives. so shouldn;t this be a hinthint to those spa outlets to reduce their prices and give student offers?

truth be told, i am in absolutely no mood whatsoever to even go window-shopping or playing around with my make-up. i played X-Box in the afternoon and practically got bored of almost every game, including those that i usually relish playing like Burnout Revenge cos being a speed demon and crashing your opponents' cars are cool, or Buffy cos being a vampire slayer is just so hot, especially when you get to pummel a few annoying vamps along the way, or playing on the same team as Kaka and Ronaldo in FIFA07 and FIFA Street 2. but i got sick and tired after 2 hours.

and an hour before, i was just sitting in my room listening to these tracks REPEATEDLY:
- Usah Lepaskan (Don't Let Go) by Taufik Batisah
- Kiss (Because I'm A Girl) by BoA
- Sampai Menutup Mata (Until I Close My Eyes i.e. die) by Acha Septriasa
- Hari Ini, Esok Dan Seterusnya (Today, tomorrow and thereafter) by Nirina Zubir
- My Heart by Irwansyah ft Acha Septriasa
- Our Love Will Always Last by Edward Chun
- The Long Goodbye by Ronan Keating
- Everlasting by BoA
- Waiting by BoA

common factor here? sad, sweet love songs that i just want to listen to for hours because that's exactly how i feel. those with my msn will probably see this as my nick and pm:

"I know they say if you love somebody You should set them free
But it sure is hard to do"

and that's taken from The Long Goodbye. what i intended to put was "If we love somebody could we be this strong" from My Heart or translate some parts of some BoA songs.

and the worse part is, i have to deal with this alone. i know i sound very bitter here, but better bitter than crying uncontrollably. both ways hurt.
