i confess..

i suck at chem. i really really suck at it. i've been staring at the same page of the chem prac book for the past 2 hours, figuring how to do the calculations, and even with the hints in front of me, i still can't do it.

it's not that i hate chem. i don't. i find it rather interesting, although i'm more of a language and humanes person rather than science and maths. it's just that i plain suck at it, and it's so darn frustrating cos my bio is doing fine and my chem is half-dead or half-alive, whichever way you put it.

and i'm sick of staring at the same question for the past hours with no inkling how to go about doing it. and none of my friends seem to understand it as well. i shall change my stand; i don't suck at chem, chem just plain sucks. (although i know this isn't true, but hey, it's a form of looking on the brighter side)

and owen hargreaves is now a Red Devil. and i heard the price tag was ludicrous. i tell you, he's only been highly-raved and stuff cos he's 1) English, and England is despo for a great midfielder after scholesy and 2) cos he was the only english player who didn't play like sh*t* during the world cup campaign last year. to me, he is an average player. not until he proves his worth. and besides, we already have carrick. how are we gonna slot him, carrick, scholesy, ronaldo and giggsy in midfield? what we need, dear Mr Fergie and Mr Gill, is a right winger. i love giggs to bits, but we need a stand-in for him as well. and we need quality defenders cos our defence is rather thin, don't you think?

and chelsea is gonna sell off 3 players, and according to that one hell of a traitor, peter kenyon, no they're not gonna include egoistic stars shevchenko and ballack on the list. was hoping sheva will be on the list - the premiership isn't his place. in less than a season, he's managed to be lousiest star striker in the league within a matter of months. now, who's gonna beat that record?

and i just realised today that on a happy skin day i.e. no breakouts and your scars are fading, you don't need a lot of make-up. all i had on today was eyeliner, mascara, powder and a teeny weeny bit of gloss. and i got it all on under 5 minutes. and i achieve the same metallic look that i want. so on a day when i'm too lazy or not even in the mood to put on make-up, such simplicity in the form of a mascara will do. that's the essential make-up product for me.

and talking about mascara, i have decided to make more use of my blogspace and do a short review on the mascara that i am using.

MAYBELLINE UNSTOPPABLE MASCARA

this mascara was specially formulated for Asian lashes, with more focus being on the lengthening rather than volumising. but why do i love this mascara? firstly, it gives a natural effect and doesn't look so obvious. so if you prefer something that appears light and you don't really lke the idea of heavy, flurry eyelashes (believe me, i've seen people with this sort of eyelashes and it looks so uncomfortable), then maybe the Unstoppable is for you.

and really go Unstoppable with this mascara because it lengthens up to 50% of your lashes length. those with short lashes like me will appreciate it greatly. when i use it, my lashes get extended to almost my brow line, so that's how long it can go. furthermore, it makes eyeliner application easier since you actually have some lashes to hold down on.

its smudge-proof and to a certain extent waterproof formulae is commendable. even if your eyes get itchy halfway through the day, and you rub it vigorously, the mascara will stay (and so will your curls!) i even tried splashing some water on my face and to my surprise, it still stays. Unstoppable guarantees happy mascara wearing for up to 12 hours or more with a fuss-free formula like this!

phew.. so how's that for my first cosmetics review? i shall place more in my coming posts, so stay tuned!
