mula-mula sekali, takziah kepasa keluarga dan sahabat-handai kawan lama Farid, Diana, yang telah kembali ke Rahmatullah baru-baru ini. al-fatihah.
this served as a reminder to me. that life isn't forever. one day, we all will die. death doesn't come at a certain age at a certain time. when it's our time, we'll have to go. tak kira samada kita sudah bersedia atau tidak. moga-moga kita semua akan insaf, insya allah.

hehe. i couldn't resist. this song was playing in my head from 3am yesterday.
awww... Hrithrik is sooo cute!
but anyway, sing along to it! haha. translations in bold.
You Are My Soniya
--MALE-- Dekha tumko jab se, bas dekha tumko yaara Ever since I saw you, I've only seen you Tumse koi achha hai na tumse koi pyaara There is no one better nor more loveable than you Yun nazre na phero tum, mere ho mere tum Don't turn your gaze like that, you are mine
--CHORUS-- She's what I want, she's what I love She's sent to me from the heaven above She's so cool, she's so fine Out of ten I'd give her nine
--MALE-- Hey, eh eh eh hey Dekha tumko jab se, bas dekha tumko yaara Ever since I saw you, I've only seen you Yea, dekha tumko jab se, bas dekha tumko yaara Ever since I saw you, I've only seen you Tumse koi achha hai na tumse koi pyaara There is no one better nor more loveable than you Yun nazre na phero tum, mere ho mere tum Don't turn your gaze like that, you are mine Keh do na, keh do na, you are my soniya Won't you say, won't you say, "you are my soniya" Hey, keh do na, keh do na, you are my soniya Won't you say, won't you say, "you are my soniya"
--FEMALE-- Hey, aa aa aa ha Dekha tumko jab se, bas dekha tumko yaara Ever since I saw you, I've only seen you Tumse koi achha hai na tumse koi pyaara There is no one better nor more loveable than you Yun nazre na phero tum, mere ho mere tum Don't turn your gaze like that, you are mine Keh diya, keh diya, you are my soniya I have said, I have said, you are my golden one
--MALE-- Teri mohabbat mein yeh dil deewana hai In your love my heart is crazy Is mein hai meri kya khataa In this what is my fault
--FEMALE-- Haan, yeh dil churaane ka achha bahaana hai Yes, that's a good excuse for stealing a heart Mujhko hai pehle se pataa I've known it all along
--MALE-- Milne mein humko kitne barson lage hai yaara So many years it's taken for us to meet
--FEMALE-- Aisi khushi ke pal to phir na aaye dobaara This sort of happy moment will not come again
--MALE-- Aisi khushi mein yaara yeh nasha kya kam hoga In such happiness, how will this intoxication diminish? Keh do na, keh do na, you are my soniya Won't you say, won't you say, "you are my soniya"
--FEMALE-- Hey, keh diya, keh diya, you are my soniya I have said, I have said, you are my golden one
--MALE-- Hey, paagal banaaya hai teri adaaon ne Your mannerisms have driven me crazy Mujhko to hai tera nasha I am intoxicated by you
--FEMALE-- Hmm, maine bhi palkon mein tumko chhupaaya hai I have also hidden you in my eyelashes Tu mere khwaabon mein basa You came into my dreams
--MALE-- Betaabi kehti meri aaja baahon mein bhar loon My restlessness says come, I will wrap you in my arms
--FEMALE-- Jeena hai teri hoke, milke yeh vaada kar loon I want to live as yours, meeting you I'll make this promise
--MALE-- Dono ne kasmein li hai, pyaar kabhi na kam hoga Both have taken a vow, our love will never diminish
--CHORUS-- One, two, three, hey!
--MALE-- Keh do na, keh do na, you are my soniya Won't you say, won't you say, "you are my soniya"
--FEMALE-- Keh diya, keh diya, you are my soniya I have said, I have said, you are my golden one
--MALE-- Dekha tumko jab se, bas dekha tumko yaara Ever since I saw you, I've only seen you
--FEMALE-- Tumse koi achha hai na tumse koi pyaara There is no one better nor more loveable than you
--MALE-- Hey yun nazre na phero tum, mere ho mere tum Don't turn your gaze like that, you are mine Keh do na, keh do na, you are my soniya Won't you say, won't you say, "you are my soniya"
--FEMALE-- Keh diya, keh diya, you are my soniya I have said, I have said, you are my golden one
--MALE-- You are, you are my soniya You are, you are my golden one

i think me, umai and farid need another OBH. maybe this time to somewhere more wild-by-decent-standards. maybe the bowling alley. maybe a coffeeshop where we can eat indian rojak and drink teh tarik (whereby it is also cheap... come on, we share the rojak, pull out around $2-3 each, then our teh tariks cost 70 cents each. minimum total: $8.10 for 3 people.) or maybe hit the arcade. i don't know. i'm in desperate need of it. and from the way things are, rid needs it as well as umai.
i guess me, umai and rid are going through what we call 'irritating issues concerning the matters of the heart'. difference is, they're attached, i'm not. like umai said, the label 'attached' seems pointless if you only feel detached. then i replied that my case was the opposite; the way i'm slightly pissed sounds like as if i'm attached although i'm not, so that's more worse to consider about, cos i sound so tak tahu malu (shameless). but whether we're attached or single-by-status-but-attached-by-heart, we're pretty much facing the same problem. except that mine is less important than theirs cos i don't have a clear problem to describe it as a problem. cos it's just me feeling peeved - and i hate to admit this but i sound so petty - at him although we're not exactly friend enough to each other (okayy, so is the tak tahu malu part understandable now?), much more attached. so yeah. it's just me being petty, and peeved. sheesh. i'm not even attached to him, so it's up to him whether he wants to reply or not. why am i being so..peevish and (sighs) sound so petty?
it's funny, cos one moment i'll be happy, then the next moment i'll just be peeved. and oh yes, peeved till now. oh, for French Connection United Kingdom's sake fika, he's not your boyfriend. knock knock. hell-lo! get real. smell the cafe latte. he's probably attached. sheeshh.
okay, i seriously am in need of OBH. i don't know when, but i am wishing that it will just materialise right now in front os the three of us, and then we can go and enjoy the day (supposedly) being single-wingles eating Pringles.
why oh why oh whyy did i let myself get so peevish about this matter?? it's a small matter! okay fika, stop getting peeved about it. stop stop stop stop stop! 'stop! engkau mencuri hatiku, hatiku. stop! engkau mencuri hatiku.' okay, thanks dewi persik.

my eyes still hurt from the removal-of-contact-lenses experience. putting it on was a decent thing - since it's my first time, it took me 15 minutes. but oh, removing it was a pain-in-the-butt. 1 hr 15 min. and uhh.. a lot of tearing. a lot a lot of tearing. i won't be wearing contacts for at least 3 weeks.
life sucks. no shit. me and umai were discussing about our lives back then and our lives now. i told her about how tough it is for me, to be having a mixed-school mentality in a girls' school. it's like a barrier to breezing through the communications issue, which i had partially overcome. but maybe there's a reason things happen. oh wells.
and you know, umai and i share the same wish. if only we can go school once again with our gang. and it'll be uber-nice if the building is WGPS. and then Cikgu Bobo can be our teacher, as well as Ms Hayati. haizz. i miss them all so much!!!
i'm serious. ever since i was in pri sch, i've always wished that the whole gang can be in the same school again, do the same crazy stuffs that we used to - if not, crazier. and then in pri sch, i dreamt that when we're grown up, the whole gang live in the same block of apartments/flats, in other words we are like neighbours. then we visit each other house, meet up at each other's house (according to whose turn it is) and have a feast every week. that'll be so cool.
and guess what? i'm still wishing the same thing. my WGPS Gang forever. ILY all.

farid nearly, nearly, nearly had himself shoved into the oven, hit with Ramlah Rumplestiltskin's burger-rak, squeezed into Colgate and tossed out of the window after the incident this afternoon. ish3. like i told umai, he is so lucky that we're friends. and whatever the case is, i hope the cookies turn out alright. i'll be in JB when you need me, alright? remember, read the instructions. and please, i don't want to see the SCDF's Red Rhino breezing to your house. plus, a friendly reminder from your friendly accomplice, place SCDF's number on your emergency number list, and then mine and umai's. but i am banking on you to bake your cookies safe and sound. you HAVE to.
it's great to see that my friends' love lives are improving. three cheers for them. hip hip hooray x3. come to think of it, it'll be nice if one day all of us sit down together and get to know all our SOs. that'll give a chance for us to ensure that our SOs treat us nicely. cool. okay, wait, strike that. that'll give me a chance to make sure that my friends' SOs are treating them nicely. otherwise, they'll see Dang Cekodok in action, with a lot of cheese.
nevermind the fact that mine is stagnant. and that the guy that i like is most probably attached, or even if he's not, he is still emotionally attached to his ex. plus, almost all the guys - make that all - who appear to be interested are on my reject list i have absolutely no interest in them in the relationship sense whatsoever, so there's no point i feign interest in them. ' we're internet friends - let's stick to that strictly, okay boys? patch up with your exes. thank you very much. ' and then the fact that i'm supposedly no longer interested in the guy that i like although i still like him and in love with him despite being rejected, despite it being years since. and i'm still wondering where he is, and how he is today. maybe he's not on my mind 24/7, but when i do think of him, i just think of him. and at the same time, it's eating me from inside cos outside: "hey, we're friends! remember that time when we went to the Science Centre? you were squeezed in between the other guys in the bus cos the our gang choped two seats only. to seat about 8-9 of us. then we all kept falling out of our seat. funny and cool, right?" , and inside: "i still like you a lot a lot and very the much. but something tells me you're attached, so i think i'm gonna have to shut up about it and go, 'hey, we're friends!' "
let's just hope i don't dream about searching for and about-to-eat Oreo cookies again. even if i do, i hope i at least get to eat the Oreo cookies.
1:27 am
and the level of my usual cheeriness just took a tumble for no explainable reason, merci beaucoup. je tres frustre, et j'en ai marre. mais quel surprise, je ne sais pas pourquoi. merveilleuse! trust me to start rattling in rusty french. i can say "j'etais" and still can't remember which tense it is from. and anyway, does it matter? of course it fcuking doesn't; i'm quitting next year.

this song just kept on playing in my mind. no guesses for why, cos it's just utterly random. but in any case, it's a great song. one of my faves.
Gareth Gates - What My Heart Wants To Say
you're amazing so amazing have I told you enough you're my angel guardian angel god knows I've been blessed with love
but if I been gone tomorrow would you know how deep my loves goes have I ever told you you're the one
**if the words don't come my way hope its still love hope it still shows if the words don't come my way hope you still know what my heart wants to say
words so tender I surrender to this feeling so true my affirmation my inspiration darling I have been blessed with you
**
but if I be gone tomorrow would you know how deep my loves goes if I was gone forever would you know how much I care that you make me feel like flying and failing all emotion that everytime you look at me you see it in my eyes
if the words don't come my way I hope you still know if the words don't come my way I hope you still know I hope it still shows if the words don't come my way I hope you still know what my heart wants to say if the words don't come my way I hope you still know hope it still shows if the words don't come my way I hope you still know I hope it still shows
I hope you still know what my heart wants to say

i've had my brains racked as i seek to assist dear mr farid who's about to embark on his 'project' soon. yelah, pak farid. saya akan kirimin email nye nanti ya pak. waduh. sabar dong pak. kalo mau bikin itu biskut, repot sedikit dong pak... tapi apa-apa pun untuk teman saya!
went shopping today with my mum at John Little! bought a pair of Antonio Club pumps that i was eyeing for quite some time. it's very comfy, black, V-shaped at the front and have butterfly imprints in front and along the sides. in short, it's very prettyy!! haha. after that, bought some 'clothes' (alaa umai.. baju tu tu..faham2 je lah ehhk) so in total, it was a whopping $52.60, after 20% discounts on every item. my mum bought a bag. she wanted to get a pair of matching pumps like mine, but in bronze, but there isn't size.
after that me and my family went to Burger King to have dinner and i ran into dee there! i was like, omg, dee!!! dah lama tak jumpa! she was somewhat the same as well! hahaha. omg, i miss her lahhhh. when PPG go out for the outing soon, we must must must invite her along. MESTI.
now i'm reading The Bone Yard by Paul Johnston. so far it's okay, pretty engaging. but i don't think it'll be as entertaining as Christopher Brookmyre's Be My Enemy: Or F*** This For A Game Of Soldiers. despite having varying forms of f*** on every page, it was highly entertaining. just the comedy thriller that i was looking for, after The First $20 Million Is Always The Hardest by Po Bronson. i've never been able to seriously view Silicon Valley after reading that.

it's 3am but i still can't sleep. maybe cos i slept early last night, hitting the sack before 12. so i guess that pretty much explains me and my nocturnal dwelling of the internet.
anyway, received as SMS from farid just now. and he had a weird request. but i know what he's going through now, so anything for one of my close friends. even if it means baking on Christmas day at my house. well, anything as long as he's happy. if he wants hindi songs (like yesterday night, according to umai), i'll give it to him. as long as his request isn't bordering on the unthinkable (like walking out with flour instead of compact powder, umai's brilliant id-e-a), i won't mind.
so i told umai about his request and then she suddenly said about how we can bake cookies outdoor with cardboard and aluminium foil, thanks to her guides teacher. i was pretty sceptical, but seeing that you can fry an egg on a piece of reflective metal placed under direct sunlight, i'm accepting of it.
you know, after yesterday's outing with umai, what's with all the wasabi joke relived, i just suddenly thought about friends in the general term. to quote Dol from Salam Lebaran 2007, "Kawan ketawa senang dicari; kawan menangis sukar diganti" (loosely translated: friends who laugh with you are easy to find; but friends who cry with you are hard to replace)
i'm thankful that i have a lot of great friends in my life. race, religion and language isn't much of an issue - yes, the difference may hinder somehow, since those who are the same as you tends to be able to connect better with you cos they understand better. but whatever the case is, i'm just thankful that there are still people who i can really count on in dark times. friends who'll lend me their shoulders and their ears. friends who are willing to waste time on the internet to crap and keep me smiling.
to BC: i love you guys, really, although i don't show it. merry advanced christmas. see you all next year.
to farid and umai: nak dekat 10 tahun kita bersama. moga-moga persahabatan kita ini kekal abadi. dan aku sayangkan korang berdua banyak-banyak.
to PPG: 6 tahun bersama masa pri sch. sampai sekarang ni pun kita masih jugak dapat khabar and berita, walaupun setahun sekali. kitaorang dulu pernah rapat, pernah kam-ching gilerr. harap-harap suatu hari nanti kitaorang semua akan kam-ching giler macam dulu (: and walaupun sudah berzaman, aku masih sayangkan korang semua (sebagai kawan aje tau) ________________________________________________________________ this one is for Farid ONLY (tapi Umai, kau boleh baca):
Rid, aku faham apa yang kau tengah go through sekarang ni. tapi jangan risau tau, aku dengan umai akan selalu sokong kau dan tetap berada di sini untuk menangkapmu seandainya kau terjatuh. tapi kalau tersungkur tu, tak bolehlah..sebab nanti kau hempap kitaorang, daripada nak buat biskut, kau jadikan kita macam pancake pulak. dah, jangan sedih-sedih lagi. nanti kita pergi ntuc beli bahan buat biskut, camping kat rumah aku, tengok hindustan sambil bikin biskut coklat. mesti roboh rumah aku. haha. (ketawa. ketawa sekarang. cepat. ke-ta-wa. cepatttt. haa.. macam gitulah. ketawa kuat lagi. haa..bagus. jangan stop sampai tahun depan.)
this one is for Humaira ONLY (tapi Rid, kau boleh baca):
Umai, dahlah...jangan difikirkan sangat hal tu. yang penting, at least sekarang korang dah berbaik balik. lain kali diatu insensitive lagi, haa.. biar pekerja no.1 kau ni sembur dia sikit. lepas tu, kalau kau nak aku goreng popiah tu sampai hangus pun alright jugak (hehe..tapikan boss, lepas tu, kenalah up-kan pangkat and gaji ehh boss?) plus, seandainya telefon kau tu buat hal lagi, marah dia. lepas tu jotos kepala dia sikit. ngada-ngada. kalau diperbuat daripada emas pun takpe jugak.
10:29 pm
didn't get the chance to blog yesterday, so here i am, blazing to blog about yesterday's outing with none other than the great Humaira (ceyyy.... bok! mcm betul jer :p)
anywayyy, me + umai = two crazy chicks travelling from woodlands to town and back to the north again!
haha. accompanied umai to tiong bahru to collect her black and white wristlets from anna. as usual, we were laughing all the way from woodlands to tiong bahru, especially since we recollected the past(primary school sweet sweet sweet memories), and the older past (hehe..me and dika, forever fighting from nursery all the way till now. miss that guy.) then from tiong bahru, we made our way to Ang Mo Kio!
walked through AMK Hub all the way to Jubilee, where we had our first taste of Ramen-Ten! (ala rilla melati) oiishii!! hehehe. it was nice! umai ordered a teriyaki chicken bento set and i ordered hokkaido oyster ramen. and for our side dishes, we had Kani salad sushi(Umai's) and Salmon and Egg Mayo sushi (mine). hehehe. even while eating we are forever laughing and laughing. as the saying goes, let the pictures do all the talking....
me + my orange juice..hehe..awaiting my oyster ramen
Hokkaido Oyster Ramen, anybody?
the sushis.. oiishii!
bento + ramen = bentoman!
hehehe. after we ate our fill, then off we went to AMK Hub, where Umai bought a pair of Havianas. she wanted a white one with purple swirls, but there wasn't size. so she got one endorsed by Gisele Bundchen. woots!
after that, we went to Bishan with the hope of getting some neoprints done, but somehow, the shop has vanished. then i went to minitoons to get myself a silver butterfly keychain that i've been wanting, and umai bought herself a pretty necklace.hiahiahia.
afterwards, umai said she had to go off, so we had to cancel our plans to have prints taken at cwp and headed straight to admiralty mrt. hehe. along the way, we crapped more as usual, and recounted our gang's inside joke. HAHAHA. (wasabi, ceyy...bok and azizan's mei chi, bye!) hehehehe. like umai said, to us, it's achingly funny, but to others who simply don't understand, it's lame. haha. it's the joke within our primary school friends' circle, so i think it's pretty exclusive. kan kan kan kan, umai (dan farid, walaupun engkau pergi bermeditisasi di bukit panjang) ? hehehe.
hahaha. suddenly i recalled this mat that we saw, who was dressed in blue t-shirt and bright green tapered pants, carrying a white slingbag. when we saw that, we immediately listed it as a fashion crime. hahaha. then when we were at the mrt station, we saw the Standard Chartered poster and laughed ourselves silly. that mat can stand at the poster and camouflage himself in. swee! hahaha!
hahahaha. wait, let me shout it out:
SITI HUMAIRA BTE SUMRI, ILY MANY MANY MANY lah seyyy!!!!!

jokes and laughter aside, i'm actually riddled with worry for one of my besties. it hurts to see him like this, wanting to help but don't know how. like i told him: i can't give you a hug (cos whoa... cannot!) but all i can tell you is take care of yourself. ingat apa yang aku pesan. insya allah, kau akan dapat tahu jawapannya nanti. and for my other bestie (sesungguhnya kau tahu siapakah dirimu itu), don't think too much into it. maybe cuma permainan tidur aje. things will turn out okay. we'll rock amk hub down tomorrow, alright? *hugs*
to both of them: there's a saying, friends are like brothers (and sisters) in arms; they have each other's back covered - always. the same goes for us. apapun yang terjadi, APA-APAPUN yang terjadi, kita bertiga tetap akan mengharungi badai ini bersama.
last time aku pergi VivoCity, aku terdengar satu orang ni cakap "Walau badai menghalang, kita tetap makan!" tapi macam tak sesuai kan untuk konteks kitaorang ni. jadi aku adalah edit sikit2, jadi "walau badai menghalang, kita tetap bantai tapai kat kilang kitaorang tu!" sebab, yelah kan, kilang dah tutup dua hari. jadi banyak tapai basi untuk dihabiskan. kwang3.

Used:
Face
Translucent Pressed Powder from Estee Lauder Perfectionist Palette
Bronzer from Estee Lauder Perfectionist Palette
Light pink Blush from Lancome (any brand will do actually)
Eyes
dark black brown e/s (matte) from Estee Lauder Perfectionist Palette
- sweep upwards from upper lid and extend beyond crease so that there will be a light 'smoke' on browbone
onyx e/s from The Colour Workshop Dazzling Eyes beauty clutch paletter
- apply on the outer corner of eye and sweep it upwards and across the browbone
SilkyGirl automatic eyeliner in Brown Black (any kohl will do)
- apply on upper lashline, wing it out and then smudge the wing with onyx e/s
(i skipped the mascara, but a lengthening + volumising mascara should complete the look. or better still, put on dramatic falsies.)
Lips
Fasio lipstick in Petal Peach
note:
this look focuses heavily on dramatic eyes. so it'll be wise to keep a muted look for the lips by using nude colours. liquid foundation will serve as a great base for your skin, but translucent powder should do the trick. bronzer is used to define your cheekbones, so swipe it underneath your cheekbone and blend it with the blush that you swirled on your cheekbones.
as this is a semi-smokey look, i used dark brown as a base colour. however, you can choose to switch it to black or dark grey.

guess what i started watching at 12am plus just now?
haaaaaa..Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham....
hahaha. yeapps. i popped in my Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham (K3G) VCD into the player and watched it. haha. i know, it's nuts. who watches hindi flicks late at night? *raises hand* i do! haha.
i loved that show to bits, and i still do! haha. one of my fave scenes is somewhere in the introduction, when Rahul (played by Shah Rukh Khan, the guy furthest on the left in the picture) got out of the helicopter that fetched him from the airport to his house, and then he ran all the way in. meanwhile his mum (played by Jaya Bahchan, 2nd from the right) was walking all the way to the door cos her instincts told her, her son had come home. then she waited, then he didn't turn up. then as she turned away, she suddenly turned back and saw Rahul running in, swinging his bag over his shoulders. and haha.. omg.. SRK is so cute.. he saw his mum and then wagged a finger playfully at her as he smiled!! hahaha.
and yayy! umai is coming back to SG anytime soon!!

yesterday bore witness to the Clash of the 4 BPL Giants. Liverpool versus Manchester United at Anfield, followed by Arsenal versus Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium. both scorelines are 1-0, with Man Utd and Arsenal emerging victorous. and both matches were DULL, BORING and it was more fun noting how funny Soccernet's live text commentator is.
Liverpool dominated the game, but Man Utd dominated the Liverpool player. Hargreaves had jammed Steven Gerrard's movements by latching on to him that it was almost impossible for Gerrard to make neat and decent passes to the strikers, Kuyt and Torres. Vidic and Brown came in between Torres and Kuyt (who, according to the Soccernet guy, is a waste of millions of pounds that Liverpool paid for him) so these two forwards can't team up together and bombard Man Utd's net, despite van der Sar having a horrid night. the other Man Utd players were pretty quiet as well. except for the 43rd minute, when Rooney had his excellent shot rebounded off the post, only to have Tevez slot home the winner. liverpool grew more desperate, and despite Torres's best efforts, they just couldn't capitalise on their chances and score an equaliser. by half-time, Man Utd had what we SG football fans like to call "close shop", where they play more defensively and said adios to attacking football. Liverpool, despite having most of the ball possession... was just unable to do anything until the full-time whistle blows. and that wraps up a boring game, enlightened only with Liverpool futile attempts to score. this also means that Liverpool has NOT beaten Man Utd at Anfield ever since 2001.
(taking a swipe at Liverpool fans: since 2001? wait...isn't it 2007 now? wow.. we're unbeatable at your home ground for 6 years??)
moving on now to the Battle of London, which took place at Emirates Stadium. Star Wars vs Star Trek. The Beauty vs The Beast. Red vs Blue. Arsenal vs Chelsea. it was supposed to be a football match. but when 1) Fabregas did that nasty tackle on Ashley Cole, wasn't the least bit regretful, and threw in a foul word or two for good measure 2) Cole punched Fabregas in the face 'accidentally' afterwards, and the referee didn't reach for his red card on either occasions, you know it's not just a football match. anyway, a Pter Cech goalkeeping blunder cost Chelsea the victory as Gallas headed the ball in. 1-0 Arsenal, and good riddance Chelsea. the Blues were droningly hopeless upfront, and Shevchenko seriously needs to be chucked somewhere else. he hasn't been playing football like it's supposed to be played ever since he moved to Chelsea. but in any case, fine goalkeeping from Cech afterwards. Almunia was hardly tested. the full-time whistle blows, and it was Arsenal at the top of the league table again and Chelsea suffered another loss at the hands of Arsenal.
to make matters a bit more exciting, the losers of these two matches - Liverpool and Chelsea - will square off in the Carling Cup quarter-finals this tuesday night (BST). i think it'll somehow end up with a Liverpool win. they tend to do better in cup competitions.
random: The Longest Yard is super coolio!! i rented it on VCD and watched it two times today. hahaha. Adam Sandler always comes up with some of the best comedies flicks! hahaha. it's hard to impress me with a good movie, so when i give this one the thumbs-up, it's worth watching! but oh, only if you don't mind beatings and swear words. haha.
10:16 pm
i was almost getting sleepy while awaiting the results show for Asian Idol, except for the parts where Agnes Monica, Peterpan and the 6 Idols came on. when Peterpan was performing and i saw and heard Ariel sing... i suddenly miss hearing them. i admit, i was one of the many Sahabats who signed a petition in protest of Dika and Reza being sacked from the band a year back. but after getting used to it, and seeing that my Peterpan is still Peterpan, well, it's forgivable.
to be honest, to be seriously honest, i was agreeing with the judges when they were selecting Mau or Mike as the first Asian Idol. nobody expected Hady to win, not even Hady himself! i mean, when they were lining up awaiting the result, Hady seemed less nervous than the rest. but when Ata, Daniel and Jien announced "and your first Asian Idol is (silence) HADY MIRZA!" , Hady was so shell-shocked he dropped to the floor, and he couldn't speak for a few minutes. i was shell-shocked and loss for words as well! i was like, "Hady?? Hady?? Hady!!!! Omg..Alhamdulillah! Hady!!" in my mind. so you can tell that i was rather speechless as well. hahaha.
but i tell you, Hady's rendition of Taufik's song, Berserah, was perhaps one of his best performances. the way he sang it, it was very sincere. and he totally un-Taufik-ed the song and Hady-ed it! wheee!!
now i can't sleep. hahaha. Hady!!!!!!! :)
1:01 am
Asia, I present to you your first Asian Idol.....

1:48 am
i was sitting down listening to Ronan Keating's Friends In Time, and i just suddenly thought back of my primary school days and all of my primary school friends. i guess i miss life back then. not only because of the huge circles of friends that we had, but also because of the understanding and the bonding. i mean, despite being in a huge number, we've never made anyone feel left out or in the dark, even if we are not close to them. it's like...i don't know. it made you feel like family.
i know that my primary school friends, all of them - can i call the Putu Piring Gang from now on? - are almost like family to me. like Umai said, 6 years together beb.. that's like a lifetime. which is quite true. i mean, being friends for 6 years is like growing up with them. you run around, laugh, joke, get into trouble, attain success, everything that you could do - together. that's the key word. sure, no one's even sure how many people there are in the group because it's too large, and it spans over various classes. so when you mix a whole large group of people together and shove them into the same primary school for more or less 6 years, you get a 'family'.
i still remember that back then, the E and F classes of my cohort (from primary 2 all the way to primary 6) are perhaps the two classes with the most kam-ching feel. it's like we're living next door to our longtime neighbour, it's so cool. and despite being 2 different classes, there's a sense of unity there because everyone knows everybody within these two classes. it was very, very cool.
but secondary school life is...different. depending on which school you are in, the level of camaraderie is, well, atrociously disappointing. the moment cliques are formed within your own class..well, you can say goodbye to the warmth and camaraderie that you experienced in primary school. rid, umai, i know you know that we all know that.
i won't lie. on more than one occasion i wished i could transfer out to another school where i can feel again that sense of camaraderie and warmth that was lost as soon as i entered secondary school life. life goes on, your environment changes, the people around you also carry on with their lives. fine. that's life, and i've heard enough bullsh*t that another one of such things will render a Talk To The Hand by me.
sighs. i'm just missing those primary school days real bad. back in those days, every single day brings a new thing. it just ain't happening nowadays.
random: so to all of my primary school friends (Putu Piring Gang: haziq, andika, azizan, ashraf, norman, syafiq saad, irfan azaman, zulhakim, zailan and all the others - you all know who you are cos there are just so many of you ; my former 6E classmates: aaron fong, melody, ying yu, grace, lim ying, aik hwee, lionel ong, matthew yap, tze han and all the other peeps who have been my classmates from 4E all the way till we graduate ; some of my 'neighbours' in 6F like terence chiu ; my prefects colleagues like afifah, erma, rabbani, dinah etc. ; plus the graduating batch of WGPS 2004, cos i know almost half of you all) : i miss you guys.

Overall report: Simply breathtaking. the Young Lions played their best football game in the SEA Games so far, putting an exemplary performance to obliterate Vietnam 5-0. dominating as soon as the whistle was blown, the Young Lions came for this game prepared and calm, despite missing striker Khairul Amri to thigh injury. Baihakki Khaizan returned to the singapore side to marshal his lads to the republic's second bronze medal since 1995 and the republic's first medal ever since SEA Games football became an U23 event. Vietnam was rarely given space to threaten as the Young Lions fired shots after shots at the Vietnamese defence, who eventually crumbled towards the end of the 1st half as Shahril Ishak half-volleyed the ball in to open the floodgates of goals for Singapore. end result, Singapore demolished Vietnam 5-0, with goals coming from Shahril Ishak's as appetiser, a hat-trick from Fazrul Nawaz for the main course and desserts by Agu Casmir.
Quick Breakdown: As soon as the whistle was blown, Singapore dominated the game. with captain Baihakki Khaizan back on the team, the whole team looked much more confident and braver than they were against Thailand about 3 days ago. the defence was watertight, and there was much more stability there with Baihakki in charge. Agu Casmir replaced the injured Khairul Amri, and emulated Amri's usual runnings for lost causes of the ball. his sharp crosses brought a different aspect to the game, and coupled with his timeless runnings and fights for the ball (so ala Amri), Fazrul Nawaz found himself laden with countless chances to score.
an intelligent link-up between Ridhuan Muhd, who was looking off-form at the start of the game and in the previous games, Agu, Fazrul and Shahril saw the ball flick off all the three players before the ball landed at Shahril, who slammed home a half-volley from close-range. 1-0 Singapore.
another great teamwork effort found Fazrul looping one in, despite his bad control of the ball. however, with the Vietnamese goalkeeper surging out to stop him, Fazrul randomly kicked the ball as in spun into a loop into the open Vietnamese net. 2-0 Singapore. 1 for Fazrul.
second half kicks off with Singapore leading 2-0. it wasn't long before Singapore got hold of possession of the ball and dominated the game again. this time, Shahril Ishak got the ball from a long distance, and he ran towards the Vietnamese goal, only to have the keeper and a Vietnamese defender in front of him. Singapore's most creative midfielder then crossed an elusive ball to Fazrul, who leapt towards the ball at panther's speed and neatly banged the ball into the net. 3-0 Singapore. 2 for Fazrul.
about 10 minutes later, with Vietnam growing more frantic, Fazrul got the ball and went full speed towards the Vietnamese net and placed a brilliant shot just below the bar. 4-0 Singapore. and 3 for Fazrul. Agu teamed up well with Ridhuan to produce Singapore's 5th goal a few minutes later.
Vietnam fought back and threatened to pull one back with long-range belters, only to have scored too wide, or had Baihakki's custodian, goalkeeper Hassan Sunny to catch the ball.
at the end of the day, Singapore put in a higly impressive play against the Vietnamese to break Singapore's history, and to be the first batch to bring a medal home to Singapore since 1995. they entered this match with the semi-finals as their target. they're coming back with a bronze medal.
Most Jarring Mistake: i can simply say none. but just to place some criticism, the defence gets pretty sleepy once in a while.
Stand-outs: to be fair, every single player was fantastic. this was their BEST performance ever! but some individual deserves special mention:
- Baihakki Khaizan: with him back in the team, Singapore played actual football. in their semi-final thrashing against Thailand, Bai was suspended for one game, and the team just collapsed. with Bai back in the team against Vietnam, everything was much more organized, the defence was much more confident and the players never once stopped surging forward to score. Bai is the team's inspiration - in fact, he's the heart of the team that keeps them going, even when the odds are down. can you imagine what it would be like if Baihakki was in the team against Thailand, and the boys played this sort of top-notch quality football? they wouldn't be fighting for bronze - they'll be fighting for gold. a beautiful exit to Bai's U23 career: a bronze medal, and despite not being able to realise his dream of being the first SG captain to bring back gold, i'm certain he's proud of this.
- Shahril Ishak: Singapore's most creative midfielder in years finally shows what he's capable of. intelligent passes and neat crosses that open up the chances for the SG forwards to score. playing in his last SEA Games as well, like Baihakki, getting SG's first medal in 12 years is a sweet present.
- Fazrul Nawaz: the son of one of SG's bronze football medallist back in 1995, Fazrul has big boots to fill. Naturally blessed with footballing talent most probably inherited from his dad, Fazrul displayed his abilities well in the game. in fact, taking up the role of a boxer-shooter, just like his dad! and just like his dad, he comes back with a bronze!
- Juma'at Jantan: they should label him Baihakki's custodian no. 2. Terrific outing as he was very alert to Vietnam's dangers and cleared the balls neatly and justly. one of the unsung heroes that deserve mention. just like 10 of his counterparts, this is his last SEA Games.
- Tengku Mushadad: like in every game, the midfield general is brilliant. one of those unsong heroes from every game, tengku deserves credit for being the defensive midfield lynchpin in the team. bronze lessened the feeling of pain from being fouled all over the place throughout the whole game, and sweetened his last SEA Games.
- those among the 11 players who are playing in their last SEA Games: which is 3/4 of the squad. they played their best football in their SEA Games history. and these boys should be proud of themselves, because they are by far the best U23s assembled since the post-Malaysian Cup days, and they made their last game one of the games of their life.
special shoutout: congratulations, boys! maybe the Thailand game was a huge mistake, but you've showed them what you guys are truly made of against Vietnam. i'm so proud of you all!

back in singapore!! whee!
JB was quite fun, to be honest. spent most of the time eating and eating. can you blame me? there's a lot of nice food. did some light shopping on wednesday, cos me and my family went to Tebrau City. it's the second time that i've been there, and once again i'm amazed how huge it was. and there were a lot of cool shops as well, especially fashion specialist stores like Lee Cooper, Dockers, Dorothy Perkins, Levi's, Voir, Mango MNG and much more. the only shopping centre that i think can beat Tebrau City is VivoCity. but i think i prefer the former much, much more cos VivoCity doesn't offer much stuffs for me. so yeapps. bought a blouse, a pair of jeans and tar paw-ed sushi and instant noodles. tell me who else tar paw food back to SG, especially instant noodles. hehe.
i wish i had SMSed Umai to bade her farewell as she departs for KL. i miss her many many seyy. then yesterday Debbie SMSed me. haha. thank you girl! haha.. like can read my mind, i'm missing my friends.
MSN-ing with Farid now. man, i miss that guy also. haha. yes, farid. READ: i miss you sahabat! tengok, aku baik kan. walaupun aku berada jauh di rantauan (macam betul jer..padahal seberang Tambak jer), aku masih tetap mengingati engkau. kwang3. nanti bila dah nak penghujung tahun, kitaorang adakan outing lagi kayy? ni kali kita jadi budak baik, belajar untuk dua tiga jam, lepas tu kitaorang rileks habis-habisan kat tempat bowling. hehehe. aku dengan umai dah up kitaorang punya game. and and and, ingat deal kita last time, siapa menang, belanja haa...
pulanglah, kitaorang merinduimu Umai kita menanti hingga hari raya haji...

it's a pleasure to listen to Michael Buble's tracks on a cool, rainy afternoon. seriously. there's something soothing about his voice, and the jazzy music. slick and smooth. that's why i played my old michael buble CDs after they have been trapping dust on my shelves for quite some time.
will be leaving for JB late tomorrow morning for holidays and won't be back until the 14th. that means i'll be temporarily absent from the Net and although i will still receive SMSes, i will be pretty stingy in my replies in the sense that i'll use worse short-forms than before. haha. so to all you peeps out there, don't miss me too much yea?
stayed up pretty late last night to do something. i'm almost done with it. one person's settled, left the other person and me. hehe. what it is? something for The Glers. but shh... cannot say, cos it's a surprise! when we meet up soon, i'll pass it to you, guy and girl. man, that sounds weird. but anywhoodles, it's just a little something that hopefully, can cheer all of us up! cos whatever happens, it's the three of us together!
you know, i thought i'd never find myself admitting this, but i sorta miss farid. haha. now that he's gone, i'm stuck with his job to park cars. and obviously i failed miserably. guess i'm not cut out to be a parking attendant. plus, all these drivers don't want to pay their tolls. aku ketuk diorang dengan sudip-sudip yang aku kebas pun tak load. so farid, hurry up and come back, alrites?
went to AMK with my family just now. initially it was just to take a look around AMK Hub. but guess what? AMK Hub was huge, and there was A LOT of cool shops to go into, the word 'Hub' is fitting cos i think girls will end up leaving the place with a lot of shopping bags. and Fairprice Xtra was whoo! huge! there was an offer on 37" Palladine flat screen LCDs and they were going for less than $2000. plus, Samsung's 32" flat screen plasma tv was going for slightly above $2000, and it is HD-ready as well. there was a lot of great stuffs that are just calling for you to pick them up, and there are also clothes sections.
aside from AMK Hub, we also went to AMK Town Centre, which is literally huge, packed and has a lot of shops. READ: a lot of shops selling nice shoes at below cost. there were other adjoining complexes as well, so when i say that AMK is huge, it's huge. it's like one big massive shopping centre, only it's not located in the same building.
then while having dinner at McDonald's, i suddenly remembered that Farid is leaving for KL at around 8 plus, so quickly messaged him. huhu. his hilarious reply came a minute later. hahaha. man, that guy is so cute. haha.
managed to pick up some stuffs today. bought my school shoes for next year (there was this massive sale at Sportslink at AMK Town Centre) and finally... a wristlet!!! i was torn between 3 wristlets, but i had to pick one. so i guess i can always drop down to AMK Hub some other time to buy more wristlets.
i'm beat and i'm bored. that's why i'm playing some games recommended by Top Gear on the net. two of them involves drifting cars (one is a cartoon-y drift race, the other one is to drift a Mercs CLK63 AMG Black Series (it's a pretty car) on a snow-ridden road. better luck with the latter. but still.. i'm no pc game car drifter.) the other one is a guess-the-car puzzle, which was pretty tough. i can always tell who's the manufacturer, but i have trouble going down to the specific model. but it's better than drifiting cars on snow and failing miserably.
Jeremy Clarkson, Mark Hammond, James May, The Stig.... please men, liven my boring life up with some car actions on Top Gear. and yes James, carbon-fibre is overrated.

Overall Report: the young lions manage to secure a place in the semi-finals of the SEA Games after drawing 1-1 with Malaysia. Singapore just needed a draw to make it through to the semis while Malaysia needed a win. Agu Casmir sealed Sg's late equaliser in the 80th minute after Malaysia took a shock lead in the 71st minute to see the young lions make it through to the next round. however, as runner-ups in Group B, Singapore is drawn to meet Thailand, the champions of Group A.
Quick Breakdown: in the first half, sg's play was scrappy as malaysia dominated the first half completely. on more than one occasion, sg found themselves wanting of malaysia's pacy players. sg found their defence ravaged, and Baihakki had to earn a yellow card just to prevent the malaysians from scoring. khairul amri, playing as lone striker, was subjected to a lot of shoving and tackles by the malaysian backline. a rash sweeping tackle by malaysian keeper on amri in the penalty box gifted sg a penalty. fazrul nawaz stepped up to convert it but his shot was weak and saved by the keeper. towards the end of the first half, play picked up and shahril ishak almost made it 1-0 with a belter, only to be saved by the malaysian keeper.
second half saw a more composed play by sg, and they kickstarted the second half with countless chances against the malaysians. ridhuan muhd wasted a hat-trick of chances, but never stopped trying to carve out chances. in the middle of the game, space was given to the malaysians and a rash tackle outside sg's penalty box awarded malaysia a lethal free-kick position. as expected, a lapse of concentration in the backline resulted in confusion among the defenders and keeper hassan sunny, and soon malaysia was 1-0 up. sg picked up play after that and started charging at malaysia's defence. agu casmir came on and managed to seal an equaliser in the 80th minute. a shahril alias throw-in was flicked back by baihakki khaizan and then nodded into malaysia's net by agu. nearing FT, khairul amri was chased time and again, and denied the chance to score time and again. the exhausted striker was soon replaced by rising football gem hariss harun. after that, 5 minutes of extra-time was given. malaysia rammed shots after shots, but this time around, sg worked as a unit and kept the mouth of their goalpost shut all the way till the whistle blew, signalling the end of the game, and history made by this batch of young lions.
In Relations To The Match: Vietnam beat Laos 2-1, ensuring that they top the table for Group B and thus will meet Group A runners-up Myanmar in the semi-finals. Singapore faces an uphill task against SEA giants and host nation Thailand. SEA Games semi-finals will take place next Tuesday.
Most Jarring Mistake: unlike versus Vietnam, the defence allowed malaysia to take countless oppourtunities with concentration lapses, lack of pace and reckless challenges.
Stand-outs: - Khairul Amri: this cili padi who was playing as lone striker upfront constantly terrorizes malaysia's defence. his tricky footwork had malaysian defenders fooled, but luck wasn't on his side as he was denied chances to score time and again. yet, he never stopped making shots, and crafting up beautiful chances for his team-mates to finish. a shame he couldn't score, but his hard work was fantastic and perhaps injected some life and entertainment into sg's game.
The Weak Links: - The Defence: outplayed, outwit, outran, out-everything by the malaysian players. shoddy and rash defending almost cost them a spot in the semis.
To Look Out For: - Khairul Amri : peaking in form and troubling malaysia the whole time. even when he doesn't score, he's dangerous. - Hariss Harun : will he feature in the semis?
10:31 pm
this makes me feel like running around my block and screaming "Ole ole ole! Ole!! Ole!!" (but i'd never do that. although after Singapore managed to enter the finals of the AFF Cup in the early part of the year, there was this group of fans in a car who sped past us, the whole lot of us Sg fans who were stumped and don't know how to get back cos the MRT was closed, shouting that all the way.)
SINGAPORE MANAGED TO MAKE IT THROUGH TO THE SEMIS OF THE SEA GAMES FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 1999!!! and we kicked Malaysia out of the SEA Games football tournament by doing that! kwang3. wakakakaka!
reports and quick analysis coming right up!

chatted briefly with my penpal from indonesia, Inggita! she's a senior at one of the universities at Jogjakarta, and she's taking up accounting. we haven't been exchanging emails for quite some time, so it was quite nice to have a chat with her, even if it was for a while. inggita, all the best ya! kamu pasti bisa selesain kuliah kamu by august tahun depan!
before that, MSNed with Agent Umai. The Glers are off-duty for now, with our third Agent cum parking attendant gone off for hoildays and to clear his mind. plus, we Agents don't quite have major cases to crack or places to infiltrate, except the MSN space. and we also need to clear our minds. lols. it was, as usual, entertaining and fruitful. we immediately jumped into our mission i.e. To search for The Wristlet. so we were scouring through Yahoo! Auctions, forums and whatnots to look for The Wristlet. Umai eventually found one at Yahoo! Auctions. as for me, i've aimed a Poccilini wristlet at Metro/JL for $13.90 . so that mission was done, and perhaps our only mission today. after that we just chatted, crapped around a bit (esp. the ending..i don't know how we can crack jokes at 1.30am) and that was all.
with question marks on her jacket (think The Riddler in Batman Forever), Agent Fika leaves The Glers HQ and speeds off in her tenth-hand Audi A4 (we Agents don't get paid, you see. we just spend.)
*speaks into button mike* Agent Fika, outz.
NOTICE: The Glers HQ and The Glers' services will temporarily be suspended due to the abseenteism of all the Agents and their service vehicles (Agent Rid has taken all of them along with him). All the Agents will soon be out of Singapore on varying days and they all need to clear their minds and look for inner peace. Plus, the Agents are broke, so they are also worrying about that matter as Agent Umai and Agent Fika has a lot of things to buy. Agent Rid, meanwhile, has found a way to upgrade his new 'secret weapon' for free.
To report cases, please dial them at their hotline 1800-THE-GLERS (1 donut/min) or drop them a thank you note at their office: Agent (whoever) , The Glers exec committee, The Glers HQ, 4 Apa-apa Aje Building, Merepek Kerepek Road.

somehow, my confusion about A is nothing compared to what other people are going through in their relationships. i guess the relationship problems faced by a single person is soooo much smaller compared to those who are attached.
for me..well, it's more of not knowing what to do, scared of the repercussions (i don't want matters to worsen), not wanting to face up to the possible consequences... yes, there's a lot of things to think about. i still have my pride. i still have my ego. it's... complex.
but you know, being in a relationships and facing problems is much more troubling, much more complex. i really hope things work out well for everyone. whatever happens, i got all your backs, all right?

but if it's so wrong, then why?
i'm not letting it show that it hurts. cos maybe this is the repercussions of my past. but..

Apa yang dicari? Seutas harapan berbenangkan kenangan Berfiruskan kesabaran Yang tak pernah pudar warnanya Walau pakaian masa disalin jua
Apa yang digenggam? Sejuta bintang sirna kilaunya Bergemawan gelap pada malamnya Tapi terus diapikan 'tuk membakar Kembalikan cahaya
Bunga kenangan membawa bersama benih-benih harapan Ditabur ditiup diselerakkan - Tapi mana satu bakal terkait Pada tirai pentas hidup?

Overall report: the young lions managed to hold on all the way to the end despite playing with 10 men from the 25th minute onwards after isa halim was sent off. 2 own goals by the Vietnamese and a beauty from Shahril Ishak ensured that Sg entered half-time with a splendid 3-0 lead. second half kicks off, and Vietnam managed to slot one in despite numerous clearances from the backline and keeper Hassan Sunny. then, a rash tackle in the last minute of the game gifted Vietnam a penalty, which Hassan Sunny couldn't save and end off the game at 3-2.
Quick Breakdown: both sides started the game pretty slowly. i wasn't even watching attentively when the first goal for Singapore came. but anyway, the Young Lions were impressive in the first half. they sat back, absorbed Vietnam's attacks before clamping down on Vietnam's movements. the Vietnamese were marked so tightly, it was almost impossible for them to go forward in search of goal. rather, the pressure only resulted in them conceding 2 own goals. but what a waste. the whole team picked up steam and pace in the dying minutes of the first half, after Shahril Ishak scored the 3rd goal after latching onto a beautiful pass from Khairul Amri, who sidestepped a few defenders to deliver to Shahril.
2nd half exploited some of Singapore's weaknesses. the midfield was rather run-down by the Vietnamese strikers, and despite the best efforts of Tengku Mushadad and Co., it still had the Lions scrambling to back up their defence at the penalty area. with isa halim sent off and the backline struggling with 3 defenders who had their fair shares of tumbles and slight sprains in the first 45 minutes, it was up to Hassan Sunny to save the day and protect Singapore's lead. alas, a goal leaked through despite the best efforts of the defence and he dived the wrong way to save the penalty. at FT, Singapore 3 Vietnam 2.
In Relations to the Match: Reports reached that M'sia thrashed Laos 4-0. so that means SG top the group, and all they have to do is beat M'sia to lift their hopes of making it through to the semifinals of the SEA Games 2007 in Korat, Thailand.
Most Jarring Mistake: the amount of time and space that the Young Lions gave away to Vietnam in the 2nd half, that allowed Vietnam to retaliate and almost wipe off SG's 3-0 half-time lead.
Stand-outs: - Keeper Hassan Sunny: single-handedly save Singapore's chances of making it through to the semifinals with brilliant saves from deadly Vietnamese shots. moment of heroism came when he stood his ground to protect SG's goalpost from a Vietnam player who was inches away from him despite the ball thumping smack onto his face a second before. result? no Vietnam goal at that time. when the defense was going through their lapses, he was the one who ensured that the backline is still watertight.
- Captain Baihakki Khaizan: probably one of his best outings for the SEA Games. had excellent control of the defense, and ensured that the backline stands solid against Vietnam's attempts despite losing Isa Halim. marshalled the team well. SG owe him for the almost-watertight defense as well as he defied Vietnam's chances time and again.
- The Defensive Backline: sturdy and solid most of the time, reminding of Italian's catenaccio system of defense. but during lapses, things get rather frenzied around the penalty area.
The Weak Links: - The Attack: forwards Fazrul Nawaz and Khairul Amri are not in form. very worrying, since we don't have much strikers left. but it was Amri's moment of brilliance that gave rise to Shahril's goal, and he looked as if he's peaked towards the end of the game.
To Look Out For: - Khairul Amri. peaked towards the end of the game. has he found his form?
A Cause For Worry: - Baihakki Khaizan: needed medical attention around twice. received knocks from Vietnamese players half the time. but most probably it'll be slight.
- Tengku Mushadad: our midfield general was substituted after he was on the ending side of a rash tackle made by a Vietnamese player. limped off the pitch. looked serious.

farid, i wanna kill you man! you got the PSP?! sighs. takpe takpe. sesungguhnya, aku tak jeles. sebab, bukannya kau boleh main game-game kat dalam tu. wakaka. ok2, tak baik sungguh.net aku ni. anw, congrats on getting your new 'weapon'. please put it to good use, bukan untuk join TP asal main saman orang jer. ingat, kau tu parking attendant, bukan assistant TP. kalau nak jadi assistant TP, sesungguhnya engkau kenalah berjumpa dengan Big bin Boss. hehehe.
smsed umai in the afternoon just now after i had to stop myself from laughing when i looked through my december calendar cos 1) The Glers would be going and coming back from our holidays within a span of a few days. farid goes off, i go off 2 days later. farid comes back to sg, umai goes off and then 1 day later i'll come back. then 5 days later umai comes back. it's...yes, confusingly funny. 2) i can't imagine how The Glers + Gang bowling. because farid will be acting pro, umai will hope the balls don't end up in the longkang, i'll be throwing the ball instead of rolling them, haziq will be chaotic about the pins, dika will act cool as usual, irfan azaman will be jeering people on, azizan will try to maintain peace, syafiq saad will be in total disbelief when the balls he throw miss the pins and enter the longkang...and there will be around 10+ of us with a kecoh-ness level of 50 people. so i think they might either close the alley specially for us or the more probable one, we all get kicked out.
then she replied that sometimes she feels that the whole lot of us are like cartoon. i replied back, it's not like, we are cartoon. hehehe. then we started this whole crap thing of assigning cartoon characters to The Glers + Gang. after much debate, we settled on a PPG theme (although i don't like PPG, tbh). umai's Blossoms, i'm Buttercup, norman is Bubbles, ashraf is fuzzy lumpkins (umai initially thought of him to be Bubbles, but we ended up loao imagining him to be Bubbles), farid is the mayor, syazwan is ms kyn, azizan is professor utonium, dika is mojojojo and the rest are free to be the monsters. see? we are a happy PPG family (:
then just now online, we were bored so we tried to play those MSN games. but there was some problems so we ended up crapping again. there was this one game (Rock, paper, scissors) that was succesful on the first try and lagged on the second try. the loser gets eaten up by a shark. so then for some unthinkable reason, umai said Jaws is her 'bf'. and then when the game was lagging, she announced a break-up. at the same time i was suggesting whether Jaws is 'mad' at us or he's gone off to go see free willy. then umai came up with a scene where she confronts Jaws and ask for a break-up, which Jaws gladly accepts. and she 'returned' the seaweed necklace Jaws gave, and Jaws (what a jerk) took it back and said that he's gonna give it to free willy. hehehe. and this is only about 0.0001% of the crap you get out of us in a day. so imagine the full 100% (please, don't imagine. you'll go mad.)
hehehe. during The Glers outing i suggested that we go for a group study somewhere and then blow off some steam afterwards. then our train whisked past AMK Hub and umai suggested we go there, and then afterwards we can meet up with the rest of the Gang at the bowling alley near Jubilee to bowl. which sounds like a fun id-e-a! hehe. we'll fulfill our dream our getting kicked out of the bowling alley, i guess. tee-hee!
the three of us always say something like, "we're only talking on msn and then we are so kecoh! (seriously - we always end up laughing like mad in front of our comp.) Can you imagine if it's in real-life? aiseyy..i bet we can cause the building to collapse" or "aiseyy.. what lah we. night time like this, still can talk rubbish about Jaws and a whale."
but i guess we can't help it. cos we are The Glers + Gang. kalau tak kecoh, tak sah. (if we're not noisy and crappy, our name The Glers + Gang won't be legitimate)

for L (BC should know. umai should know as well, kan?) as well as A (umai should know that person from my past. BC, gotta ask me).
i just realised that i was pretty spaced-out today. so yeah..score one for my blur-ness.
i..well. ever since i ran into A yesterday, i've been...thinking. between A and L..to be frank they're total opposites. i know i know, A is in my past. but L..has changed. a lot. until i feel like i don't know L anymore. that's not to say that A is still the same because after that one embarrassingly-daring incident a few years back, we haven't been talking and usually act as if both of us are see-through, so i don't really know for sure.
but seeing the way A talks to his mum, the way A carries himself...almost the same as the few years back. almost exactly the same as the few years back. maybe it's just A's quiet and cool nature.
L is...how do i say it? L can make me very happy one minute, piss me off the next, then make me cry and still be the one that gives me strength. i'll change the 'can' to 'used to'. L is just completely different now. more often than not i'm just hurt by how different L is. they say that love can survive the distance and time - as long as the person doesn't change. so when the person changes...it hurts. there's also a saying that the person you used to love the most can turn out to be the person you hate the most. but i don't want that to happen. maybe..just maybe, there's still traces of the old L.
it has been so long and still, A's still like that: quiet, cool-headed, unassuming..in short, A's very..calming. which was slightly ironic as A used to like dragsters (a type of race cars) which are well-known as speed-demons. and oh yeah, A used to ride a bicycle to school. and A's favourite colour combination was sky blue and grey. lols. the grin, the face..A wasn't that good-looking and he didn't use to make it up with his height. but A's much taller now...but the face is still the same. the same grin. in the past, i didn't know why i fell for A. even now, i don't think i know.
