i don't think i'll ever find myself saying this, but for the past five hours, i enjoyed studying. no, seriously. i enjoyed it, although i was doing subjects like elementary maths which is quite boring. maybe it's just a relief cos i manage to pry my thoughts away from wondering about my life. i wasn't 100% focused on what i was studying, but i'm sure there was around 80% somewhat. and doing calculations is quite fun somehow. you just apply the formulae and manipulate it around. and oh yeah, the provided answers helped a lot as well.
come to think of it, i feel like staying up the night to study. man, this is sooo weird. which girl in the right sense will even think about relaxing her saturday night away studying??
anyway, sidetracking a bit. i was window-shopping at causeway point after lunch just now, and stumbled upon this mega The Body Shop sale. there was a lot of stuffs that i was just dying to get!! here are some of it:
- Vanilla Eau de Toilette (i'm in LOVE with this scent, i think! the S.A. sprayed some on me just now and the scent lingered for hours!! and it smelled so voluptous, so yummy.. like vanilla ice cream!!)
- Cassia Rose bath & shower cream/bar soap (according to my friends, the scent can stick to your body the whole day, so that's great! and besides, it's rose so it won't clash so much with my Intimately Beckham for Women body spray)
- cocoa body butter (something like a cellulite-buster, according to a reader on tyrabanks.com)
i listened to Il Divo, Michael Buble and Patrizio Buanne a while ago after not listening to them for sooooo long! they certainly have some of the nicest voices on my cd rack, especially the Il Divo quartet. they sound so harmonious, it's heart-melting and captivating! to be honest, i bought their second album, Ancora, last year without being a fan of theirs and just buying it cos they looked good, and i heard they sound good, so i decided to give it a shot. but after listening to the first 2 songs (Heroe and Isabel), i was hooked. their voices and harmony are beautiful. only then did i become one of their fans. my favourite voices are Sebastian Izambard and Urs Buhler, especially the former. Sebastian has this voice that's just nice - not too deep, not too high. in other words, a unique but commercial voice that's easy on the ears.
ok, going back to the Man Utd game. the lads are battling it out with Gareth Southgate's men. 1-1 now, thanks to Richardson in the 3rd minute. but the final result? well, let's hope we get the 3 points, and maybe a goal from Smithy will be nice (:
