wahai kau cinta
sungguh tak ada yang bisa
mampu berpaling darimu
bila terlanjur sayang

wahai kau cinta
yang meluluhkan hati ini
dan membuat segalanya indah
semua karena cinta

~ Wahai Kau Cinta (chorus) by Radja

i just cant get the song out of my head for a few days now...
i love it..
but when it keeps replaying in your mind,
u wish it'll stop..
but then when you think back of how love is
and how you can't get it out of your life
although you realise it's one-sided
then you wish that song will stick with you forever

let's just call this my illness week, alright? had high fever from monday. recovered by yesterday. and now i have the stomach flu?? i think i have enough visits to the doctor. and after i actually completed my 20 tabs of my fever medicine, i now have to consume carbon compound tabs. it doesn't taste weird (or maybe i didn't give myself a chance to taste since i just gulped them down with water) but it sure does leave black dust on the hand. well, what do you expect? it's carbon what...

and that on-off pain in my stomach is what is causing me to be so cranky. i'm serious. even in the mrt, while i was supposedly peacefully sitting down and listening to my mp3 on my handphone, i felt like smashing that electronic device against the seat. don't ask me why. i just felt like it. but i didn't of course. siapa tak sayang telefon oi... but of course, nobody knows that i'm feeling this way, so i offended some people online just now. so, to all those offended: i am reaaaalllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyy sorry!!!! forgive me, ya?

and man, mc is so not fun. i know, i needed to recover from my high fever, but i ended up missing a maths lessons and now i need catching up. ~ obviously.

i need to rant on this blog but i don't know what to rant about. so maybe this is due to the mental block from this stomach flu. or maybe i just ahve plain nothing to rant about. but i'm gonna try to rant cos i need to rant. so all this rubbish is really just spontaneous. and like what the hell sia. wasting space online for this crap.

the chinese new year concert at school just now was okay, quite entertaining. there was all the nice dances and stuffs. sounds normal, but it was kinda fun. then we went back class because our form teachers are supposed to check whether we brought our ODTs. mdm shamini took charge initially, and boy, was she in a good mood. then chairperson (Nita) counted how many people never bring/lost/spoiled their ODTs. mr lee walks in and mdm shamini announced that only 12 people brought their ODTs. ~yay.. anyway, mr lee brought along this huge jar of chupa chups then he told us to take one each. and then after the whole class finished passing it around, there were still extras so he told us whoever wants to take some more for boyfriend lah, sister lah, can go take later. and then most of my classmates flocked forward to take more. haha...

i'm supposed to have called it a day and retire in my bed, but no, i'm blogging here, visiting kallangroar.com, checking out mylions.com.sg and somehow filing my nails. ~woo-hoo. call that slacking, i call that relaxing.

anyway, SINGAPORE WON THE ASEAN CUP AGAIN (ex-Tiger Cup)!!!!! thank you Khairul Amri!! memang betul apa orang cakap; kecil-kecil cili padi. sekali dia rembat bola tu, bukan main curl.. haha.. yes, amri.. thank you for saving our skins!! you're the man, man!!

and also a HUGE THANKS to ALL THE SINGAPORE LIONS!! i've seen you guys play, and you guys play with the grit and heart that i've been missing and wanting to see for so long. it doesn't matter if results doesn't come our way; as long as you guys play with the never-say-die conviction, that's all that matters!

and i'm gonna list the names of the Lions (according to my memory..those missed out, please tell me): lionel lewis, aide iskandar, s subramani (we're gonna miss you!), baihakki khaizan, noh rahman, muhd ridhuan, shahril ishak, mustafic fahrudin, daniel bennet, jia yi, indra sahdan, khairul amri, noh alam shah (go alam shah-rer!! 10 goals, a Golden Boot, an MVP award and the championship medal!!), fazrul nawaz, hassan sunny, ismail yunos, itimi dickson (better buck up ah..), hafiz osman (now you can change your underwear, right?)... okay, i'm already muddled seeing all these names.. i know i missed out a lot of names..

and off kallangroar.com..thanks farissen..

.....................................................the ASEAN Cup aka ex-Tiger Cup

......................................Once upon a time, there's a cute guy named Shahril Ishak..

................................and then there's his comrade, the tall and fair Baihakki Khaizan..

well, that's about it for the Lions. can't wait fo the sleague to start. my preferred team? young lions. wonder how many new faces there will be. and all these the future of Singapore football.. yay!!

school was rather dry today, except for chemistry lesson of course. mr leo lee and all his deadpan jokes. today was about Hitler and umm..to put it mildly, his physical features. and you should have seen mr lee's face when he was talking about it..so eager, like an innocent schoolboy..haha.. man, wished i had that captured on camera. tbh, almost every relevant page of the chemistry textbook that i flipped to always remind me of what he said during the lesson, and eventually make me laugh. so who says chemistry is boring? (ok, fine, the subject and understanding the concepts are not fun, but the lessons are)

i'm completely in love with perfumes. so please, next time you see me hanging around john little and adamant to test every perfume there is, please stop me. otherwise my compulsive obsession with les parfums will just escalate and i may do the stupid thing of paying $70 for a small bottle of perfume. (NOTE TO MYSELF: Fika, if the worse comes to the worse, and you really want to spend on perfume, kindly head to John Little Causeway Point and purchase a Stitch or Intimately Beckham body spray and get a discount with your John Little card. otherwise, please seek out those small cart shops selling perfumes like Lancome Miracle and Tommy Girl in small amounts. thank you for your cooperation.)

ok, that's it, i'm still imagining chem lessons, and Amri's tears after he scored last night (don't worry Amri, we also shed tears of euphoria when we saw how you burst through the Thailand defence and save us single-handedly..once again, thank you!!), so guess i'd better ciao now..

*sigh* mass run tomorrow, and a very d-r-y timetable.. but what to do? c'est la vie. it sucks.

i don't know what's it with me that i'm suddenly interested in picking up perfumes, perfumes and MORE perfumes! aside from those small cute bottles of jasmine and Chanel no.5-inspired scents, i bought that intimately beckham body spray and fell in love with the scent. last week, i was strolling in causeway point and got myself another perfume. this time from that small shop in front of guardian pharmacy. and guess which one? Lancome Miracle for women. (i bought 8ml for $11..can you believe it?) i tried the scent in school and i have to admit, i sort of like the scent. haha.. here are the basenotes:

Top Notes
Lychee, Freesia

Middle Notes
Magnolia, Ginger, Pepper

Base Notes
Musky and Amber Notes, Jasmine

to me, it smells pink. no, seriously. i take a whiff of it and the one colour that comes to mind is pink. it's light floral scent is belied by a very faint musky scent. in fact, it smells flirty and fun, i.e. all-girly. and friends keep telling me that i smell nice, so i was like, thank you perfumes! i didn't waste my money after all!

and these perfumes come in handy, especially during long hours in school and you just need to perk yourself up. minus the statements you get from your chemistry cum form teacher about the diffusion of your perfume (i don't mind hearing them everyday, really) and your friend saying it out loud that she can smell it, it lifts your confidence and changes your mood and influence your character.

darn, today felt like a really long day for me. it's as if time pass by slowly. matters made worse with the warm weather. imagine lah. afternoon in school. brains all shut down after the add maths test. i was stuck in the classroom trying to waste my time all the way until 3pm before i had to belah for french. in fact, i also didn't know what i was doing. playing songs off my hp but keep switching tracks every 2 minutes or so. and i was so sleepy!! the reasons are due to my faults, but hey, they're for valid reasons. i was dj pelajar on tuesday, went to Kallang (more on that later) on wednesday, stayed for cca on thursday, and slugged my way to french (r.e.l.u.c.t.a.n.t.l.y) just now. and i skipped french just to go to Kallang. man, i wish i can do it every week..

Kallang's last game (I think) was the Asean Football Championship finals first leg (ok, this part i cant understand why they split a final into 2 legs) between Singapore and Thailand. the atmosphere at Kallang during that match was one hell of an atmosphere. full house again, with 54 000 Singaporean fans and about a 1000 Thai fans. the match is a long story, so basically, Singapore won 2-1, Thailand walked off the pitch after a penalty was awarded to us and the Malaysian referee was KAYU. i'm serious. he was really KAYU. there was 2 lear penalty incidents, especially the first one where Khairul Amri got kicked in the stomach in the penalty box. but what did that effing referee do? NOTHING. we fans were so enraged, we started singing REFEREE KAYU for a while. and yes, those buto chants were directed at the referee mostly. there were a lot of Kallang waves, many pockets of people shouting that bad malay word starting with b and when thailand was staging their 15 minutes protest, a lot of middle fingers are flicked. so, warning ah.

chem lessons never fail to be amusing with mr lee jianwei. he's funny, yes, but rather sarcastic. but from what ferind told me, all that bravado is just a front. just him trying to act tough (ok, maybe cos he's on the discipline committee?)..
