i don't even know what i'm trying to post in here cos i have absolutely nothing in my mind. and i'm just typing in cos i need to get my fingers working (and stop myself from entering football insomnia by watching the replays of all the goals scored yesterday for all the matches). and also cos i'm done reading Redcafe.net for my daily MU feeds. everyone there was all on the Wayne Rooney kissed the MU badge in front of Evertonians. it's just an act of frustration cos the Evertonians were harsh on him. i mean, they verbally abused their former hero, who still loves the club no matter what. but wth. 3-0 for the Reds (and we go marching on, on, on...)you know, woodlands is a very peaceful place to be in. nothing ever happens. the only truly exciting thing that happened previously were a) SI2 coming to Causeway Point and b) a 2nd accident - this time fatal- occured at the traffic light junction opposite my block. and sometimes i'm out and don't know what to do so i "accidentally" eavesdrop in ppl's conversation. like the last time i was on my way home from VivoCity. i walked past this group of guys and overheard one of them share his philosophy with his friends: Walau badai menghalang, kita tetap makan. (even if the waves are to come in our way, we'll still eat)nice philo, brader...

ok, so MU drew 1-1 with Chelski... fine, i admit i'm a tad disappointed.. when we're leading 1-0, thought rooney could sneak in a goal and say goodbye to Abramovich and his men. turns out no, saha mistimed his clearance and in went a goal for Chelsea... but hey, at least we're still top of the table.. and in a much better position than liverpool..man, i dunno what's the problem with liverpool. on home ground they're fine. but away? well... how many goals did they score away, anyway? but i'm so glad gerrard's found his form back. that's right stevie, wake up, and fire all cylinders you've got (oh, beat Arsenal and Chelsea and Everton and co., but carry on losing to MU... i know you guys haven't won the title for 16 years, but man, give SAF a chance to sniff the title before he calls it quits) i saw his goals, and i was like, "oh yeah! finally, stevie's back!!!" i was tempted to do some crazy shoutings and jumping around, but it was night-time.. and man, there's a baby living downstairs. how irresponsible can i get??AND I GOT TAUFIK'S NEW ALBUM!!! and a FREE POSTER! yup, so now i have Fik's face plastered on my wall. a confession: I was not a Fiknatic before i bought his 2nd album. the reason why i'm transformed into one: his 2nd album is class! he wrote, arranged and produced 8 of his songs. and some of his best works: Holding On, Usah Lepaskan and Sombong. and i think this time i really fell in love with his voice XDand i'm really delving in my mafia obsession. i don't know, it's always been some hidden desire to be a mob boss (but hey, the dream is realized via the vid game Mafia and The Godfather). but there's a difference between the American, Russian and Sicilian mafia. the ori mafia is the Sicilian. now, this lot is the most gentlemanly of all the mafias. sure, they steal, they plunder, they kill, they're merciless, but they never dabble in drugs or prostitution. the American mafia are the worst; they dabble in everything and intent on getting more rich. the Russians are more cold than the Sicilians, but not as bad as the Americans. and the mafia is actually a string of coscas who agreed to work together, and members of the mafia are called the mafioso. and it's a man's world, cos hey, we women get merciful more easily than men.

i can't wait for the red vs blue clash this sunday. no, it has nothing to do with my obsession of that Halo-inspired vids. i think i'm over it now...anyway, it's the clash of the English giants. the moneymakers. the loud-mouthed managers. the top players. and ex-divers in the form of robben, drogba, essien vs cris ronaldo. ok, so the last part has mellowed a bit. the lads have matured. they've understood that it's football where you kick the ball and not fall to the ground like flies. now, if only about another 22 players living in the country beside France adhere to that... Germany would have won the World Cup..ok, it's a really old affair. the WC was like what, 5 months ago? and isn't that fecking Sepp Blatter one hell of a FIFA president. apologised to Australia 3 months after the WC and admitted that Gross-o dived. wtf is that?! what were these peeps doing the few days nearing the semis? they should implement VIDEO EVIDENCE asap. this sort of thing REALLY piss me off. and one more thing: replace Blatter; he's useless.back to the chelski game. i swear, they're the one team i hate the most. after that comes arsenal. MU fans will kill me for saying this but i like Liverpool. no, seriously. i don't even know why. it's like, everytime liverpool plays, i hope they win. and they have my support in the champions league. okay, chelsea as well, but only cos they're an english club. and it's a bit weird to have MU and LFC badges side by side, but that's what i have on my pencilcase. what sort of fan am i???

ok, basically i'm bored. and i can't sleep. and no, it's not cos i'm staying up to catch champions league action on the malaysian channels i get thanks to the booster; i did that did this morning. you see, there are 5 malaysian channels televising live champions league matches simultaneously. so on a day when i'm up at 4am, i flick throught the channels to catch all 5 games. like this morning. i mainly watched celtic vs man utd. ok, so MU lost, which sucks. but post-match, all the celtic fans were up and holding their banners high above their head singing the celtic fc anthem, and it was pretty touching for me to see their support for the team. i don't know what the anthem's called, but it's like an official song for the scottish giants, just like You'll Never Walk Alone is for Liverpool. but i got over-frustrated seeing the red devils snuffing chances after chances, so ended up flicking through to catch a bit of real madrid and arsenal.
man, why didn't real just lose? maybe i'm sadistic, but i'm waiting for the day when these european giants like real, milan and to SOME extent chelsea fail to qualify for the competition. it'll be very interesting if it happens, but not necessarily cool. i mean, i don't like real, am fine with milan and i do hate chelsea to the guts, but i watch them for football entertainment purposes.
but not later. i'm just not in the mood to catch any football, which is weird cos every wednesday and thursday fortnight i'm glued to the tv screen from 2.30am(if the game starts early)/4am - around 6am(after the highlights from all the games). it's like a ritual. but somehow today... nah, just don't feel like it.
maybe it's cos i'm beat from kem Obor (a journalism program organised by BH, the local malay paper). i mean, i love it. it's fun, an eye-opener and also test the limit of my patience (and stamina.. i keep getting hungry, and i can't focus on an empty stomach). and i got to meet the reporters: farid hamzah, norman sawi, suryani omar, nazri hadi saparin (the facilitators of the programme), khalid khamis and the rest (ok, there's so many of them and i can't recollect their names - for now). yeah, it was quite cool. we had this american a cappela group called M-pact and this funny guy who's an MTV VJ named Colby as guests for the "press con" The whole thing was tiring and i lost my temper a little, but i really enjoyed it. wouldn't mind coming for a second round.
lately i've taken a liking to this song by My Chemical Romance (though i'm not a fan), Welcome To The Black Parade. the way death is being described is as if death is meant to make the living stronger, but at the same time, honour the memory of the one who has gone. and the black parade is just a metaphorical view of a funeral procession.
Welcome To The Black Parade
When I was a young boy,
My father took me into the city
To see a marching band.
He said,
"Son when you grow up, will you be the saviour of the broken,
The beaten and the damned?"
He said
"Will you defeat them, your demons, and all the non believers, the plans that they have made?" Because one day I'll leave you,
A phantom to lead you in the summer,
To join the black parade."
When I was a young boy,
My father took me into the city
To see a marching band.
He said, "Son when you grow up, will you be the saviour of the broken,
The beaten and the damned?"
Sometimes I get the feeling she's watching over me.
And other times I feel like I should go.
Through it all, the rise and fall, the bodies in the streets.
When you're gone we want you all to know
We'll Carry on,
We'll Carry on
Though your dead and gone believe me
Your memory will carry on
Carry on
We'll carry on
And in my heart I cant contain it
The anthem wont explain it.
And we will send you reeling from decimated dreams
Your misery and hate will kill us all
So paint it black and take it back
Lets shout it loud and clear
Do you fight it to the end
We hear the call to
To carry on
We'll carry on
Though your dead and gone believe me Your memory will carry on
We'll carry on
And though you're broken and defeated You're weary widow marches on
And on we carry through the fears
Ooh oh ohhhh
Disappointed faces of your peers
Ooh oh ohhhh
Take a look at me cause I could not care at all Do or die
You'll never make me
Cause the world, will never take my heart
You can try, you'll never break me
Want it all,
I'm gonna play this part
Wont explain or say i'm sorry
I'm not ashamed,
I'm gonna show my scar
You're the chair, for all the broken Listen here, because it's only..
I'm just a man,
I'm not a hero
Just a boy,
who's meant to sing this song
Just a man,
I'm not a hero
I -- don't -- care
Carry on
We'll carry on
Though your dead and gone believe me Your memory will carry on
We'll carry on
And though you're broken and defeated You're weary widow marches on
We'll carry on
We'll carry on
We'll carry on
We'll carry
We'll carry on

it's all my brother's fault. now i'm turning into some sort of Halo fan. well, it's not that bad. i see my bro playing Halo on his PC and it looks fun. and unbelievably, i have a Halo novel by my side currently. ok, i admit. i sort of got hung on Halo after watching the Red Vs Blue episodes. you can't blame me; it's hilarious!! and episode 20 was all the mixed-up of pedophile, pacifier and pacifist. ok, the right term was pacifist, but the Blue team is a bit..something wrong up there. you get the idea..they're funnier than the Red team.
anyway, Bawang Merah Bawang Putih just took a drastic turn. i can't believe Fera killed Benny! ok, Benny was the bad guy, but then he became a good guy and helped Andre and Alya to save their adopted kid sister, Olivia. But Fera wants Olivia as well cos Olivia is the main witness to Alya's dad's death. so Benny saved Olivia from her clutches, but got beaten up real bad instead. the fighting scene was quite cool because Benny was fighting with Fera and at the same time protecting Olivia. and it was rather sad when Benny staggered into his home (where Alya and Andre are waiting), carrying Olivia to hand her back to them. as soon as Olivia left his arms, he fell unconsciuos to the floor. man, i felt so bad for Benny's wife and son. Benny was rushed to the hospital in a near-fatal state and passed out in the ambulance when he was about to make a statement against Alya's stepmom and stepsister. anyway, operation saved him. but then the next day Fera came and smothered him. man, why must he die??! why must my favourite male character die??? arghh!!

haha.. was surfing around on youtube, and found this vid: Red Vs Blue: Episode 82 The Grif Reaper. for those who have absolutely no idea what it's all about, RVB is something like a series created by fans of one of the most popular games in the world, Halo (yeah, include Halo, Halo 2 and Halo 3). most of them are pretty hilarious, like this one i found. okay, it's a bit lame, but it does cheer you up when you're down. so people, enjoy!

ok, while we are waiting for jansen to come back from his hols and (hopefully) do the html for us, we're planning a reunion for the geng. the only problem is, do they want to get together?? i'm hoping they say yes, cos it's been nearly 2 years since we've hung out together, joke around, rubbish about.. create a chaotic scene wherever we go (those days when we reigned in havoc.. and ultimate rubbish.. i miss them..)
anyway, i still can't believe the scousers lost to the french brigade. Arsenal 3 Liverpool 0. mwahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! evil laughter aside, i was hoping the scousers will beat the foreign army. I HATE ARSENAL. why? just look at their starting XI! foreigners, foreigners and foreigners. can't wait until FA approve of the limit of foreign players in a club. so who will Arsenal be then?? mwahahaha...
i admire the lower teams, especiall west ham, who has produced a lot of talented english players. their academy is supposedly the best in england. i believe that. to me, english clubs should remain english. the stars can be foreign, but the core of the team has to be ENGLISH. because to me, that will up the status of the EPL, and make the EPL what it really is: the English Premier League.

the blog thing is almost done!! it'll be up, as soon as jansen helps us with our html. (he's always been the IT chief ever since P6... siti and i are as clueless as it comes when dealing with html and xml and jargons) can't wait to break the news to the rest of the guys! siti said that she's tried contacting azizan to see if he wants to help out in this thing, but so far, no replies yet.
ok, just a brief overview of how our blog will look like. we found this blogskin based on the TV sitcom Friends. ok, i found it and saw that it's soo cool. complete with the theme song and it's lyrics. to me, it really reflects us (me and the malay kids of 6E) and since there's dashes of red to the skin, i signed us up for the classic red tagboard. so, hopefully, jansen will rectify the problem and we can immediately post it up, and then it'll be OFFICIAL!! **huge sigh of relief**

okay, i'm quite excited by Siti's idea to
reunite the Malay kids of 6E from Woodgrove Primary School of the year 2004. it's a really cool idea cos now all of us went to different secondary schools and are rarely in touch. if this thing is planned or worked out, will tell more!

for some reason or another, i seem to be listening to more and more songs by agnes monica. she's one of the top teenage artistes in the neighbouring country, indonesia. she's an actress, a model and a singer as well. and she's only 21. anyway, i guess i started looking for more of her songs only after i've heard Tak Ada Logika. that song is crazy!! it's so upbeat, and for a while, it became my fave song. i'm not really up for the idea of buying her album, so downloaded about 3 songs off Limewire: Tak Ada Logika, Kamu Dan Kamu and Bukan Milikmu Lagi. she has this terse voice that's suitable for all this rock-pop songs, but honestly, she doesn't come close to Kris Dayanti who has a more pure voice. nevertheless, i still like agnes's songs, so rock on girl!!
anyway, here's one of the pics taken during jalan raya with my secondary school friends:
back row(left to right): attiqah, sharah, me, amirah

for all Hikmah lovers! found this on youtube:
i really love the song.. dengar saja lagu ni, boleh sejukkan hati aku :)
and got the opening for Hikmah 3 as well (focuses on Adit this time):
and rtm2 will finish showing Hikmah tomorrow whereas Suria is still on episode 50+. haha..will know the ending before most of the Singaporean viewers will!! but just for a slight spoiler, the last 3 episodes are very sad, although it has a happy ending.
but for those wondering what's in store for Hikmah 3, go to youtube. episodes from the 3rd series are available! but just to give you guys an idea of what it's like, here's Episode 1 Part 1 from Hikmah 3. Enjoy!
man, i wish i can be like Ana. i really, really admire her. the way she speaks to her step-mum in the first series (although initially her stepmum, Bu Eli, was one hell of a witch - literally) is so soft and really soothing. i don't know how Bu Eli can still be so mean to her. tapi bila Bu Eli taubat, menangis seh..(actually, aku pun terasa macam nak nangis juga..terharu!!). and then that Adrian..although he's cute, he's so frustrating after he lost his memory. Arman and Surya keep telling him that (to quote Surya): "Adrian love Ana. TITIK(period, full stop in indonesian)." but no, he refuses to believe that for 10+ episodes.
but ignoring his character during the memory-loss, he was soo romantic. imagine, he's a rich guy who's a unversity student and have an expensive car. but he opted to leave home and stay with Surya in a rented apartment facing Ana's apartment just so he can see her everyday. and then he also worked as a waiter at the restaurant where Ana is working at and refused to come home until he wins her heart.
how sweet is that??darn, manchester united lost to southend 1-0, meaning we're kicked out of the Carling Cup. but at least we're still in the running for a) the Premiership b) FA Cup c) Champions League. and S.A.F is still going on strong after 20 years, and Scholesy and Giggsy are reliving the best of their career, so staying pretty optimistic about United's chances of winning at least the Premiership.

i've actually planned to clear up my maths holiday homework, but can't make sense of anything and on the verge of a i-don't-know-and-i-can't-care-less attitude so had to put it aside. don't know how i'm gonna survive in my school life if my maths grades are between B3 to C6. truth be told, i'm not a fan of numbers and science. it's so
leceh. must learn theory, must memorise formulaes, must understand algebra laws... i prefer the language subjects, since it's more expressive and easier to manouvre around. i like geography and history as well, so the interest in those subjects sort of fuelled me to do better in them. man, i can't even imagine sitting in class learning pure bio and chem next year. ok, i don't mind chem, but it's still science. sheesh.. guess i'll be bored to death. wait, why am i rattling about school? i've sworn to steer clear of convo involving S-C-H-O-O-L over the holidays.
i'm done with all my jalan raya. went jalan raya for 3 days straight last week from monday to wednesday. it was fun, but after that my feet suffered from blisters. sigh..
anyway, monday and tuesday was reserved for jalan raya with my secondary school friends : amirah, aqilah, attiqah, sharah, raihan, khaliesah, natasha safia, ain. and we live all around singapore, so that's why it's 2 days. it was crazy going jalan raya with them. the first day, by the time we reach pasir ris, most of them cannot tahan walking in their heels and took them off. so they walked towards aqilah's house barefooted. haha...luckily i can stand walking in my black stiletto heels. if i've worn my brown one (which is higher) i'd have joined the kaki ayam group.
second day was more lazier than the first; most of them wore flats. i wore the same black heels. it's been 3 years since i bought it, so i thought, kasi lasak aje kasut ni, dah season pun.. our first house was raihan's condo at chua chu kang. her living room is so cozy nobody felt like leaving. furthermore we were watching oprah winfrey discussing about the declining state of schools in the US. imagine lah, nice couch, air con, dark and cozy room, and full after having breakfast at mcdonald's...... everybody was like: raihan, rasa macam malas nak jalan ah...
wednesday was jalan raya with my primary school friends. when finna called me up, i asked her, how many people are there? then she replied, there's about 13 boys..and only 6 girls. so inproportionate! i laughed and said, that's like a class. but then afterwards 3 girls called it quits, so the rest of the girls were just me, finna and sarah. but it's true..so inproportionate. 3 girls lagging behind 13 guys: andika, farid, syazwan, the syafiqs, yazid, haziq, norman, zulhakim, hambali...there were a lot of them that it's hard to remember!
it was fun, tapi kecoh. the guys macam dah buang tebiat, main lompat2 dalam lif, spitting all around(not all lah, but the few still makes it disgusting) macam mana pun, it reminds me of how much i miss them and all their crazyness :)

for the first time in my life, i agree with Mourinho: refs should have their own press conference to give plastic excuses for all the major decisions in the game. okay, schaudenfreude aside (arsenal and chelsea lost!!), the refs in both matches were biased (kayu!!). there was a clear penalty for arsenal when Spector fouled that arsenal player(what's his name again?), and why the heck did terry get red-carded? and AC Milan had tons of decisions against them, which is almost unbelievable to say the least. somehow, sunday 5 november 2006 seems like a referee kayu day... imagine, 4 matches that's messed up no thank you to dear messr referees. Poll and Styles, you're lucky i'm not the president of the referee association. especially you, mr graham poll. otherwise i'd have sacked you straight after the match. and why oh why didn't you just retire after the world cup?? at least he cn stop troubling people around him..
and hey, Sir Alex Ferguson celebrated his 20th year at Manchester United with a bang as we mauled portsmouth 3-0. and was that one hell of a free-kick by cristiano!! it doesn't just go straight; halfway it swerves towards the post and then curled into the net. SWEET!!!!! will record EPL Goals this saturday and relive that goal over and over again!

3 bad news thumped my ears for the past 2 hours. first and foremost, my favourite indonesian band, Peterpan, has confirmed that they've sacked keyboardist and one of the two founders of the band, Andika Wahardja, and bassist, Hendra "Indra" Valentino. when i read the report in Berita Harian, my heart really went out to Andika. he said amidst tears, "Peterpan is my life. Everyday after I wake up and before I go to sleep, I ask myself, what have i done for peterpan today?" imagine, he's already written 4 songs for their new album, and then they kick him out. Peterpan, I love you guys, but unless you're not going to explain it to us, ngefans kalian, it's hard not to blame you guys and call this treatment unfair. emangnya ada apaan sih sama kalian? please, explain it all in your press conference.
secondly, manchester united slumped to a freak 1-0 to FK Copenhagen. i don't know what fergie was thinking, but it didn't work out. they'd better beat celtic..or else i'll storm into OT and do a Vladimir Romanov..
okay, the third is rather personal and it involves a friend...but just so the friend knows, your actions and your character now is hurting me a lot..i thought i knew you but turns out i don't..
anyway, ini lirik lagu kegemaran aku sekarang ini: Kepastian Yang Ku Tunggu oleh Gigi
di bawah sinar bulan purnama
ku merenung
saat terpisah yang ku jalani
bersamamu
keindahan dalam bercinta
tidaklah mudah
cinta membutuhkan ketulusan
dan pengorbanan
satu keagungan cinta
tak terpadamkan
mengapa semua ini harus terjadi
reff:
tanya hatimu benarkah dirimu
masih mencintai aku
bukankah dulu kau mau menunggu
pernyataan cinta dariku
tanya hasratmu benarkah dirimu
masih membutuhkan aku
bila tak berubah bicara padaku
kepastianlah yang ku tunggu
keindahan dalam bercinta
tidaklah mudah
cinta membutuhkan ketulusan
dan pengorbanan
satu keagungan cinta
tak terpadamkan
semua ini harus terjadi
repeat reff
